Maurus Bachmann

A Swiss perfumer whose work is defined by precision, sophistication, and an almost obsessive attention to structure. Trained in classical perfumery and working under the roof of Swiss fragrance company LUZI, he has built his reputation through long-term, deeply involved collaborations. Best known for shaping the olfactive DNA of Thomas De Monaco Parfums, Bachmann co-created the house’s Private Collection of extraits, including Raw Gold and Sol Salgado. His style favors harmonious structures rather than overstimulating creations. Carefully edited formulas, high concentration, and materials allowed to evolve slowly on skin. In an industry driven by speed, Bachmann stands out for choosing time as his primary luxury asset.
